Role Overview

AFER | EliteCare is seeking a skilled Fitness Equipment Repair Technician to join our growing service network. In this role, you will perform on-site diagnostics, repair, preventative maintenance, assembly, and installation of commercial and residential fitness equipment across luxury hotels, health clubs, medical facilities, and high-end residential communities. You represent the EliteCare standard — punctual, professional, and precise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowers, multi-gyms, and other commercial-grade fitness equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services under tiered service plans
  • Complete equipment assembly, installation, delivery, and room-to-room relocation
  • Provide accurate service documentation and detailed maintenance records for every job
  • Respond to emergency service calls within established response-time windows for contracted clients
  • Maintain professionalism and discretion when servicing high-profile and luxury client environments
  • Communicate parts needs, lead times, and job status clearly and promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hands-on fitness equipment repair experience
Manufacturer certification(s) preferred — Precor, Life Fitness, Matrix, Cybex, or equivalent
Proficiency with electrical diagnostics, multimeters, and mechanical troubleshooting
Reliable transportation and ability to transport standard hand and test tools
$2M commercial general liability insurance (or ability to obtain prior to first dispatch)
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document service work accurately
Professional appearance and demeanor — EliteCare environments require white glove conduct
Availability for after-hours and emergency dispatch when applicable

Role Overview

AFER | EliteCare is the only dedicated, nationwide service platform built exclusively for massage chair repair. We are seeking experienced Massage Chair Specialists to deliver premium, white glove repair and maintenance services across luxury spas, wellness centers, high-end residential clients, and hospitality properties. This is a specialized role for a technician who understands the complexity of robotic massage systems and holds the technical expertise to match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair robotic massage chair mechanisms, including roller systems, track assemblies, and drive motors
  • Perform airbag replacement, inflation system diagnostics, and pneumatic troubleshooting
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics including control boards, wiring harnesses, and remote/display systems
  • Execute premium upholstery care, panel replacements, and structural frame repairs
  • Manage assembly, disassembly, delivery, and in-room placement with white glove precision
  • Provide thorough service documentation for every completed job
  • Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality standards when serving luxury and high-profile clients

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience repairing massage chairs (commercial or high-end residential)
Hands-on experience with robotic mechanism systems — roller tracks, S/L-track configurations, 3D/4D systems
Electrical troubleshooting skills — control boards, wiring, PCB-level diagnosis
Experience with airbag systems and pneumatic components
$2M commercial general liability insurance (or ability to obtain prior to first dispatch)
Ability to handle large, heavy units — physical capability to move and position full-size chairs
Polished, professional presentation consistent with luxury service environments
Reliable transportation and tools suitable for on-site repair work
